I like the way they look but too tight at instep and very SQUEAKY.I’m a nurse and I always get Algeria shoes. They’ve always been really comfortable and I like that you can buy new insoles when your old ones wear out.Anyway, this is the first time I’ve ever had to return Alegrias. I’ve tried a few different kinds but these ones are very stiff to start. They probably would have softened up with wear, but the sizing is wrong. I ordered US women’s 9, which should be 40 EU, but the box says 39 EU, which is normally size 8 US, but the box also says US 9. So my toes were touching the ends, and the tops and sides where super tight. I ended up buying a different kind of shoe, hopefully that one has the sizing right. Super weird, that’s never happened to me before.Side note: I don’t know why everyone expects these shoes to last for years, especially if you use them every day and walk a lot for your job.So comfortable and no 'break in' period. I have bought several different styles. 1 usually wear size 11 normal width and bought the 11.5-12 size and they fit perfectly. Love them.No fault to the seller as they dont manufacture the shoe. Purchased the oil slick keli shoe back in March. Not even five months later the upper is pulling away from the sole of the shoe.Ive been purchasing from Alegra for over 10 years now and the last two pairs have sepereated at the line were the sole and upper meet within six months of owning them. Past shoes I've gotten multiple years out of. Quality has defanintly been slipping but prices stay over the $150 mark for a basic black work shoe.
